DRAFT — under review. Not yet approved for publication.

This policy explains what information Blaster Brigade ("we", "us") collects through blasterbrigade.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email blasterbrigadepnw@gmail.com or call (509) 434-9996.

Information you give us

When you request a date, we ask for the details we need to plan your party: the unit you're interested in, your preferred and backup dates, start time and rental length, the type of event and location, the event address, the number of players and their age range, your name, email address and phone number, how you heard about us, and anything else you choose to tell us.

When you use the contact form, we ask for your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message.

We ask for an age range for the group, not children's names or ages. Please don't include children's personal details in a message.

How we use it

  • To reply to your request, check availability, confirm or quote your party, and plan setup and clean-up.
  • To answer your questions and keep a record of our conversations with you.
  • To keep the website secure and working, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers to run the website. They handle information only to provide their service to us:

  • Cloudflare hosts the website and sends the email notifications we receive when you submit a form. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms from spam. It processes information about your browser and how you interact with the page to tell people from bots. Because it is a security measure, it runs whether or not you allow analytics cookies.
  • Supabase stores the requests and messages you send through our forms in a secure database.
  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are visited and where people get stuck). Clarity can record how the mouse moves and where people click on a page, with form entries hidden. These tools use cookies; see "Cookies and your choices" below.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Cookies and your choices

Analytics cookies are on by default. You can turn them off at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in a cookie on your device for 12 months; if you clear your cookies, you'll need to set it again.

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, analytics stay off automatically.

We don't use advertising pixels.

How long we keep it

[TO CONFIRM: retention period with Josh, e.g. "We keep form submissions for up to X years for our business records, then delete them."]

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email blasterbrigadepnw@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Children

Our parties are for kids and adults, but this website is meant for adults planning an event. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
